Perinatal Psychopharmacology Update: Part II
1. After this presentation, participants will be able to describe risk factors for perinatal mood disorders.
2. After this presentation, attendees will have gained understanding of safety profiles and risk vs. benefit analysis for common psychiatric medications used in pregnancy and lactation.
3. After this presentation, participants will be able to advise their patients on principles of treating anxiety disorders, OCD, and major depressive disorder in pregnancy and the postpartum period.

This presentation provides a deeper dive into perinatal psychopharmacology, as a follow up to the webinar presented in February. Rebecca will provide an overview of when medications for mood may be utilized in the perinatal period, and specific safety profiles of commonly used medications. This follow up presentation will focus on OCD, anxiety disorders and brain stimulation including ECT and TMS. There will time for Q and A at the end as well!
